These guys are the young guns in Malayalam Cinema whom high expectations are on to lead Mollywood in future.
Prithviraj Sukumaran
Youngest son of late actor Sukumaran, Prithviraj debuted in Nandanam (2002) at the age of 19. His glamour, athletic figure and acting prowess won the heart of audience. Though in the initial stage Prithvi acted in many less than ordinary films, he has been very selective lately. He delivered amazing performances in Urumi, Indian Rupee, Celluloid, Mumbai Police and Memories. He also had pivotal roles Mani Rathnam's 'Ravanan' and Bollywood film Aurangazeb. Pritviraj is counted as a superstar
Fahadh Faasil
Fahadh Faasil, the eldest son of veteran Malayalam director Fazil, is one of the new gifts to Malayalam cinema. He debuted in the 2000 film Kaiyethum Doorathu, under the direction of his father. But the film turned out to be a big flop, both commercially and critically. But after a long sabbatical, he returned to the screen through Mrityunjayam one of the films in the anthology Kerala Cafe. He then went on to act in some critically and commercially well-received movies like Chappa Kurishu, 22 Female Kottayam, Diamond Necklace, Annayum Rasoolum, North 24 Kaatham, Artist, Aamen and Bangalore Days. He has proved that physical appearance is not the yardstick of acting ability. His talent and hardwork are very much appreciated and he is continuing to win fans. He has won numeorus awards in a short period, a testament to his abilities.
